Environmental, Safety & Sustainability
We maintain wastewater treatment and air scrubber systems as part of our commitment towards environmental management and workplace safety.
In support of sustainable operations, our facility also incorporates a 275.6 kWp rooftop solar system, contributing towards greenhouse gas emission reduction equivalent to approximately 6,272 trees annually.
Services & Process
Hot-Dip Galvanising Process
Hot dip galvanising provides long-term corrosion protection by coating steel with zinc through controlled immersion processes.
1. Material Receiving
- Incoming steel products inspected
2. Jig Tying
- Products secured for optimal zinc flow and drainage
3. Degreasing
- Immersion in caustic soda to remove oil, grease, and soluble paint.
4. Acid Pickling
- Immersion in hydrochloric acid to remove mill scale & surface rust to provide a clean metallic surface for zinc bonding.
5. Fluxing
- Immersion in zinc ammonium chloride to prevent oxidation and prime surface for zinc bonding
6. Galvanizing
- Steel immersed into molten zinc kettle.
7. Cooling tank and Passivation
- Immersion in cooling water tank to cool down and remove zinc ashes from material, followed by sodium dichromate tank to minimise formation of white rust on product during and after finishing.
8. Quality Inspection
- Coating thickness verified using Elcometer testing.
9. Finishing & Packing
- Grinding, zinc touch-up and final QC approval.
